How much does car hire cost in Seychelles?
Our rates run from €45 to €65 per day depending on the car and the season, and the longer you rent, the lower the daily rate falls. Rental is charged per 24 hours from your pick-up time, so an afternoon-to-afternoon hire counts as one day, not two.
Unlike many companies, the price you're quoted is the price you pay — there is no deposit and no security hold on your card, and insurance and unlimited mileage are already included rather than added at the desk.

Car hire on Mahé, Praslin and La Digue
One thing worth knowing before you book: rental cars in Seychelles stay on the island they're hired on. The Cat Cocos ferry carries passengers only, not vehicles, so you can't take your car to Praslin or La Digue.
That's rarely a problem. Most visitors base themselves on Mahé, hire a car for the days they're exploring, and hand it back at the jetty before sailing — you only pay for the days you actually drive. Praslin has its own rental companies, and La Digue is best seen by bicycle anyway. How to get the cheapest car hire in Seychelles
- Book early. Cars sell out in peak season, and the cheapest models go first — booking ahead gets you both the car you want and the better rate.
- Rent for longer. Daily rates drop as the rental period grows, so a full week often costs far less per day than three separate days.
